Thank you to the great group of women who joined us for our launch party. We counted at least 30 and added about 20 new LIFT members by the time the night was through.
We raised close to $3,000 (donations are still coming in) for our very first awardee, KidSafe Collaborative. This was a mini-award that came from generous donations at the launch party and a handful of women who could not attend but wanted to support our first awardee.
Thank you to LIFT’s founding sponsor, Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer PC, that made a matching award of $1,000; getting us a long way toward the $3,000 we raised. Primmer also paid for the food and drinks and LIFT’s start-up expenses.
We are grateful to Michael Clauss, Executive Chef at City Market, who personally delivered and prepared the food – when City Market’s new store had opened that same day. Thank you, Michael! The spread you made for us was amazing!
We were thrilled to offer 3 Tomgirl juices as an alternative to cocktails. They seemed to be a big hit. We want to thank Tomgirl for a very generous gift they made to KidSafe.
